10/1/21 - This is a scare Colt Model 1909 issued to the USMC with a correct Rock Island made holster dated 1911. It retains about 60% of its original high polish blued finish, with some light pin pricking on the left side of the frame. The screws are clean and show some remaining fire blue finish. The bore is near mint and the action works properly in both single and double action. The grips are original and unique to the Model 1909. They are in excellent condition and both sides of the grip are numbered to the gun on the inside. Overall, this is a hard to find, rare variation in very nice, original condition.
